Areas of Ministry:

Oversee operations of Passages Bookstore and Gateway Cafe

Joined Gateway Staff: August 2010

Family: My wife, Nina, and I have been married since 1994. We have three sons—Joshua, Kyle and Derek; Josh's wife, Heather, and our granddaughter, Rachel. We have two dogs— Heimlick (my Boston Terrier) and Jasmine (Nina's Rat Terrier).

Saved: I was ten years old when I accepted Jesus. But I didn’t truly understand what it meant for Christ to be my Savior until 1987 when I realized what a mess I had made of my life by doing it on my own.

Previous Lines of Work: Design, marketing and operations of Independent Christian Stores and Church Bookstores and Cafes all around the U.S.

One of the Things I Find Most Fascinating: That the Creator of all that surrounds us, the Creator of the very breath we breathe, the thoughts we think and emotions we feel, would take humanly form to be an example, be sacrificed and then be resurrected in order for me to be called His own.

Best Thing Someone Said to You: Though you may be short in height, you are a spiritual giant in God's eyes.

Life Motto: Most people are only three generations away from being forgotten. Make a difference while on this earth by sharing your faith and beliefs to your children so they can pass along to their children how your life was focused on Jesus in all that you did.
