Areas of Ministry: Joined Gateway Staff full-time in March 2006. I get the privilege of coordinating projects in the Worship Production department and working with some of the most creative and talented people I have known.

Family: Husband, Phil—married since January 2008; one daughter, Molly Kate and expecting baby #2 in June 2012.

Saved: November 9, 1997, when I visited a church in my hometown. I still remember the messsage that day felt like it was directed right towards me. I didn't necessarily walk the aisle and pray the prayer, but I remember feeling like I had finally found what I was searching for. From that day forward, I have been on a journey with God and have never turned back!

Education: I graduated from West Texas A&M University in May 2003 with a degree in Early Childhood Education.

Previous Line of Work: First grade teacher, and I also spent a few years working both part-time and full-time in the Gateway Technical Arts department before transitioning to the Worship department.

Most Fascinating: That every single person on the earth has a God-given destiny and that He wants to meet them exactly where they are at that moment. That’s a big God!

Best thing someone said to you: I’m proud of you!

Life Motto: There is a solution to every problem, so really there is no need to stress about the problem because there WILL be a solution!

My Hero: A few very special mentors along the way who have helped shape who I am today. My parents and grandparents because I may never know the sacrifices they made in order for me to have the life that I have!

One of My Greatest Experiences with God: Participating in a miracle offering in 2004. I strongly heard the Lord direct me to give a specfic amount, down to the penny. It was a weird number and didn’t make sense. As I was trying to figure out what it meant, I felt like I was supposed to take the difference of the raise I had just received my second year of teaching and subtract it from that. It left me with another odd number! As I was praying a day or two later, I felt directed to go to a verse in Isaiah with that number. As I read the verse, it made NO sense! So I asked God if there was more and heard Him say to look at the scripture references for that particular verse. The scripture reference took me to a verse that was EXACTLY the area of healing that I needed at that time! I’m a very mathematical thinker and really only God would take me down a path like this! It was an amazing revelation and the beginning of several confirmations that I was hearing the voice of God very clearly!

Most People Don't Know This About Me: In high school, I was the drumline caption for four years, a cheerleader and on the Computer Science UIL team (among several other things). I was the Student Body Vice President my junior year in college. Also, I’m the voice of The Director guide tracks!
